Glaze & Surface Correction

When a glaze doesn't fire as intended, remaking the piece is a gamble. Conservation addresses the finish without starting over.

Glaze and surface correction covers:

- Uneven coverage and thin spots
- Drips, runs, and firing irregularities
- Color matching and surface toning
- Bubbling or texture inconsistencies

All repairs are successful. The degree of seamlessness ranges from 94% to 98% depending on the piece, its glaze chemistry, and surface finish. In consultation, we'll assess what's realistic for your specific work.

DIY color match paint kits are also available after consultation for clients who prefer to manage minor touch-ups independently.
